Jenna Fischer was best known for portraying Pam Beesly (the character of The Office) in the television show. The role she played earned her an Emmy nomination in the Best Supporting Actress category and she also received two SAG Awards, both for exceptional performances in an ensemble comedy.
Her birthplace was Fort Wayne, Indiana, however, she grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. Jenna was inspired by her mom's worship services at the time she started her journey.
A trained theater actress, Fischer returned to her roots following the completion of The Office. The role she played was Josh Hamilton in Neil LaBute's Off-Broadway production Reasons to be Happy. The Old Globe Theatre's premiere, She starred opposite Greg Germann as well as Josh Stamberg in Steve Martin's comical comedy Meteor Shower.

She is the writer of two books: The Actor's Life: A Survival Guide, in which she details her journey to St. Louis to Hollywood in order to be a professional actor, as well as the upcoming Office BFF's: Tales of The Office from Two Best Friends That Were There (co-authored with Angela Kinsey) This book provides the story of their greatest relationship and their time for The Office.
