Katherine Heigl, the actress of "Grey's Anatomy," has herself about her experience of being born into a "white bubble" and how that revelation has affected the way she parents her adopted multiracial children. She revealed in an interview recently that, when it comes to skin color, it doesn't really matter. But after speaking to her sister, who was adopted by South Korea she realized just the different ways society treats them. "I inquired of Meg what she thought about being that she was treated differently when going out with us parents than when she went out alone. She said: 'Oh yes, I've seen it all I've seen it all! Heigl talked to parents about the moment she realised her ignorance. The actress said that she was upset, but she felt that she had to channel that energy to help the adopted children she has. Heigl's husband Josh Kelley and their son Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. 4 have been married for 13 years. Their daughter Nancy Leigh was adopted from South Korea by the couple in 2009; Adalaide is an Black 8-year-old girl adopted in the year 2012.
