Laura Linney has been hailed as one of the most popular actors. Linney is renowned as a strong actress but as vulnerable. In the summer, while working with her father's business, Laura Linney became fascinated by theatre. After that she attended Brown University she studied acting as well as at Juilliard School, after which, her career took off. Her career began on Broadway following her graduation, she debuted in film within two years and on television within a year. Since then she has been appearing in a variety of films, TV productions and stage shows. Her nominations include three Tony Awards, three Academy Awards, five Awards, and four Primetime Emmy Awards (including two Golden Globe Awards), and has won numerous awards throughout her career. In spite of her many accolades, she is still a lover of theatre and has appeared on stage and screen.
