She grew with three brothers living in Dayton Ohio. After the age of 6 Thompson moved to Australia along with her parents. Thompson was able to move into New York in order to follow her dream of modeling after her high school graduation. The success of her modeling career led to the door to her acting. Andrea Thompson is a 60-year-old American who was born in Dayton, Ohio. Her family consisted of three siblings and three brothers. Details about her parents are not available. In 1987, the actress got married David Guc whom she then divorced in 1990. Thompson was a mother to Alec Thompson in the year 1992. The father of Alec is not known until this day. In 1995 she got married to actor Jerry Doyle. The couple has a son named Al. The couple split in 1997.
