Emily Irene VanCamp was born in Canada and is an actor who has appeared in multiple television series. She also excels in the field of film. The actress is well-known on Canadian and American television. Emily became interested in the acting when she was 12. She visited her older sister Katie in the film studio. She began taking classes in acting and auditions when she realized that she had a passion for acting. Her first audition was for commercials for a few minutes before getting a part on the Canadian children's horror television show Are You Scared of Darkness? where she was seen in just one scene without any spoken dialogue.
